Below are the Tarls – Your Virtual Assistant standard terms and conditions. It is vital that you (The User, The Client) please take time to read through thoroughly and ensure you fully understand these terms and conditions and their implications before you commence any project with Tarls – Your Virtual Assistant.
Please also note that from time to time, these terms and conditions may be updated without notice. Please contact us if you do not understand any of the terms or conditions in this document.
As a user of our websites and services, you agree not to reproduce, retransmit, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast, or otherwise use any material from these platforms without our express prior written consent.
COMMENCEMENT OF WORK
Agreement to work with, Tarls – Your Virtual Assistant begins once Service Agreements are signed and first invoices are paid. For design work, design briefs and payment constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions.
PAYMENT
“The Client” agrees to pay the full balance of the invoice to commence any design or virtual assistant project. Once research, resources, or work has commenced, the payment is non-refundable. A change of mind by “The Client” does not entitle them to a refund.
Accounts which remain outstanding past the due date on the invoice are considered overdue. If you’re having difficulty paying your invoice, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss flexible solutions. All work will cease if the invoice for your Virtual Assistance is not paid by the due date.
Services such as social media graphics are quoted based on the original brief.
You will receive two revisions per graphic, further changes will incur additional charges.
Free stock images may be used; however, paid stock images will be charged separately with your approval.
Design working files are not included unless arranged and charged for separately.
DESIGN SAMPLES
“The Client” agrees to allow Tarls – Your Virtual Assistant to showcase any/all work created in the course of any project as part of their portfolios. We acknowledge the confidential nature of your projects and will only display work once it has launched or been made public. This also includes any testimonials that are written and given to Tarls.
ADDITIONAL WORK
This includes anything outside the original scope agreed upon. You will be notified when changes or additions fall outside the original estimate. These may be charged upfront or added to the final invoice, depending on the stage of the project.
Work will not be released or made completed until all invoices are paid in full.
APPROVAL OF FINAL ARTWORK OR TASKS
While we take all reasonable care, Tarls -Your Virtual Assistant accepts no responsibility for errors (typos, incorrect info, etc.) in any materials once approved by “The Client.” Final approval is deemed given upon written confirmation (e.g. email or comment within ClickUp or similar system). No refunds are given for oversights after final sign-off.
COPYRIGHT
Ownership of concepts transfers to “The Client” once full payment is received. Unused concepts remain the property of Tarls – Your Virtual Assistant. We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolios and social platforms unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We may use stock images, fonts, and other non-exclusive elements, and reproduction rights will be clearly outlined. Licensing of copyright remains with Tarls until full payment is received.
INTERNATIONAL WORK
We support clients globally using tools such as Zoom, Dropbox, email, Slack, and other platforms. Distance is never a barrier to providing excellent service.
TERMINATION POLICY
If a client cancels a project after work has started, the invoice is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by us, the amount deemed acceptable will be refunded. All copyrights and original artwork remain with us until full payment is received.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All employees and contractors of Tarls – Your Virtual Assistant are bound by confidentiality agreements. No client details will be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
LATE PAYMENTS & DEFAULT
Accounts unpaid after the date due on invoice are considered in default. Services may be suspended until payment is received. Legal fees and third-party recovery costs may be added to your outstanding balance. We retain copyright on all work until full payment is received.
We accept no responsibility for income loss or content removal due to non-payment.
AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS
Any changes to these terms must be made in writing by “The Client” and approved by Tarls -Your Virtual Assistant before work commences.
FREELANCE CONTRACTORS & CONFIDENTIALITY
All freelancers or contractors we engage are required to sign service agreements. We carefully vet our collaborators to ensure a high standard of professionalism and ethics.

Design and strategy are creative and subjective processes. We do our best to exceed expectations, but cannot guarantee a specific outcome or result. Use of our website and services is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or third-party site issues.
